* fluent in English and MS Word
* must be under husbands sponsorship and have own visa
* must have own transport

work hours 9-1 , 3-6 saturday - thursday

salary Dhs 2000/- month

Are you sure you didn't mean Dhs 2000 / day?

going rate for a secretary is 2000Dhs per month in Sharjah

Dhs1500 if they want company visa

Slavery I say.

Ok lets break it down

400 PM just for bedspace if she is single female living in shared apt/villa

or 1000 PM minimum if renting own room

minimum 300 PM for food ( for arguments sake although 3 squares a day would come more to that )

Lets say 300 to 400 transport.

Thats more or less half the salary gone, without even addressing other costs.

Dude come on man thats sucks.

That is pretty low, but I guess he's addressing this to some bored housewife of an employed expat. Not a bad monthly salary if the secretary job is back in the Philippines or Thailand but over hear they'd have to have help from their husband to be happy with the offered salary.
