I have a residence visa of UAE but last week i travelled back to my country and there i have lost my passport. Now i have got my new passport but can anybody help me with the process of getting visa gain.

I guess best would be to somebody in UAE embassy in your country. Do you have a photocopy of your old passport along with the Visa page. Might help in speeding this up.

I would surely notify your sponsor here aswell and have him or his PRO talk to somebody in the immigration dept.

All your previous details will ofcourse will help a lot like your old passport number and visa number ( they still have those don't they )
