Hello everybody

I Just become Microsoft certified recently,
and would like to try luck in Dubai.

Yesterday I send my resume to one address and surprisingly
they replied same day to me.
In fact that was reply from agency dubaijobs(dot)net
where they informed me that company is interested in my application
and , this is most important part, that I have to pay 85$ to continue job application

At the time being I think it is a nonsense..
I am not gonna pay them a cent.

I mean I did not get anything for sure from them. No guarantee that I will get the job...nothing

What do you think.

Whats the best place to start Dubai job search ?

It's very unlikely that that company has ever found anyone a job. It's a common scam in the UAE - it happens a lot.

There's lots of ligitimate agencies out there - a lot operating from the UK or some other country because of the restrictions on operating an employment agency here. I suggest you post your resume on monstergulf.com, gulfjobs.com, byat.com. The employment agencies read these sites and contact you if they think you might be of interest.

I've never heard of a ligitimate employment agency asking for fees from an applicant.

BTW I read in FAQ on this forum that for workers from "eastern" countries minimum diploma may be university degree. I am from Bosnia which in not part of EU yet (I_ hope it will be very soon).

Since I am not university graduate but I hold few Microsoft certificates for Network admin and NET developper and also speak good english I think.

There are some Serbians where I work, but they all have degrees. It certainly helps to have a degree, but it's not a requirement. I suggest you post your CV and see what happens.

It;s well known this company are scammers - stay well away from them! NO employment agency worth their salt, will EVER take money from potential employees, they take commissions from the employing companies. Report them to the authorities.

common scam don't pay them anything

yah i've been scam by the group of indians in sharjah they are pretending agency and owner of one company in internet city because i to much depress to search a job i've been convience to pay them i thought its really its 100% fake scam, so guys dont every pay money with them.
