any one goes holidays solo ???and not business trips, iam taking holiday. I personally think solo holidays are much better than going with anyone because when you are with others you have to accommodate to everyone’s need but when you are alone you only have to look after yourself. Anyway I have been alone to Cairo and I enjoyed it but iam planning to go on holiday December/January to any where. Any suggestions for safe places for single female.

Here is a suggestion: why don't you tells us where you would like to go and then those familiar with the place could tell you whether they think it is a good idea for you to travel "solo".

The only place I wouldn't recommend you travel solo is Bahdad at the moment!

maad i wish that you do not lock this thread because what iam looking for is different to this thread? Iam looking for solo holiday suggestions or solo travellers. Iam open to suggestions to anywhere in the world that offers excitement, maybe learn something new and safe for single female.

good idea but were is bahdad? Iam not sure but i want to go to few countries. the one in mind dubai, havana anywhere in the far east? iam going to thialand that is only sure thing.

yeah i think those flights were the cheapest to go there. iam thinking either in my way to there or when coming back, to spend few days in dubai and love to meet (some of you) because all wil include some idiots in this forum.

I am also planning on a solo trip which is basically my very first trip on my own so I wanna be extra careful. I am planning to go to thailand in december 2nd week . And if u plan for nightlife which I am also planning go to these sites mentioned below. For tropical places Phuket is nice.

U can go to places like patpong and stuff though most thailand u will see the guys land(if u know what I mean ) but yet it's a good place to go. Only be sure not to get ripped off or anything which I heard ppl get like example like the auto rickshaw called a tuk tuk where u might tell them to go here and he might take u there but on a longer route to charge u extra so always take a meter taxi and make sure the meter is on. My suggestion is speak to an agent and u will find stuff and all.
