I am planning to travel from dubai to riyadh by road in december.

I was thinking if someone who has already been to riyadh by road from dubai can help me with few questions.

What's the visa procedure
If car is on lease then what needs to be done.
I am planning to go in december, is it good time to go there and weather will be fine or rough?
I heard because of sand, the paint from the front of the car fades away, is there any tip so paint remains as it is.

any other tip or suggestion if you want to give, that will be helpful

There are high temperature in all over the Dubai, so you need to make all the arrangements and enjoy you tour.

It is not always like that, its very rare that you face a sand storm and your car color fades, if you are pushing the accelator too much.

Whenever you are planning, make sure you have a companion who is a good driver, you can't/shouldnt drive this long urself.

Visa isnt an issue, if you have dubai's residency , Emirates ID Card and the Car is on your name (Malikiya) you will be stamped entry permission from the border and you can pass.
