Young Economics Graduate with Financial Qualification May 09, 2006
Hi
Just doing some initial research into this area.

I am a 24yr old UK graduate. Been working in a Home Finance (Mortgage) Brokers for almost a year and a year in a High Street Bank.
Looking to continue into home finance and move into IFA stauts.
Along with my degree I have CeMap, and am studying towards my CFP (FPC).

Really looking for an idea as to what, if any opportunities exist in Dubai for someone like myself. I am single too which helps I understand :)

If anyone could point me in the right direction, give me some pointers, or perhaps would like to view my CV, please do email me.

Many thanks
Gareth

Try the banks - the mortgage market is probably going to grow a bit this year - and Tamweel/Amlak.

Banks I think worth trying would be ADCB, RAKBank, HSBC; maybe UNB, EBI, DIB, NBAD and FGB. There's other overseas banks with branches here but don't know if they're into the mortgage market yet - Citibank, ABN-Amro may be worth a shot.

I shall certainly spend an evening finding out about these organisations. I would probably like to work for a firm where I can expand both my qualifications and career.

Certainly if anyone knows any contacts it would greatly appreciated.
