Hi all,
This is my first post but i've been reading posts on the board for a while. I must say that this forum has been very helpful.
I may be moving to dubai soon and there are so many things on my mind about living there. My main inquiry is about work. I am currently a primary school teacher. I have 2 yrs experience teaching English, Math, Science, and Social Studies to grade 2. I work in a school following an American curriculum in Egypt. It is accredited by the CITA. However, i have no teaching qualifications. I have B.Sc, majoring in business administration.
I know that the field of teaching is highly competitive in dubai and most schools require a B.Ed and experience in a western country. I am not looking for a big salary or any benefits, just a job. It doesn't even have to be in an American or International school. Is this possible by any chance?

Some schools will employ teachers without a teaching qualification - having a degree helps - but it won't be easy for you. Your best chance is probably in August just before the start of the school year when a school is desperate because a teacher has suddenly left or not turned up. Some more info here and here ...
