My name is Peter Satchwell, I am a 30 year old technical sales engineer currently working for a global pump company, although I am based in the UK.
I have techical background following an eight-year term served in the British military as a marine engineer, and have subsequently worked for two pump manufacturers.
I now seek an exciting and challenging career in the United Arab Emirates, which will enable all of my skills to be utilised, this will also enable me to return to a region of which I am familiar and very fond of.

Aug 2004-Present: SULZER PUMPS (UK) LTD, part of the Sulzer Corporation.
Position: UK Business Development Engineer
Invited to take up an aftermarket position to generate business for the Service Division of Sulzer Pumps (UK) Ltd. Core business - refurbishment of rotating machinery across all industries.
Preparation of tender documents for UK wide Service Contracts.
To provide technical support to Field Service Engineers and Internal Staff.
Project Management of various engineering schemes.
Achievements: Successful completion of industry recognized accreditation.
Influential in award of valuable MOD contracts.

Jul 91-Apr 99: ROYAL NAVY
Position: Marine Engineer
Serving on two Type 22 Frigates, namely, HMS Cumberland (1992-1994) and HMS Chatham (1995-1998).
Working independently in all engineering departments on board ship, dealing with routine maintenance of marine engineering mechanical equipment and watch-keeping on auxiliary machinery and systems together with carrying out equipment repairs.
Initially spending eighteen weeks undergoing general naval training and subsequently joining the Marine Engineering Training School at HMS Sultan in Portsmouth to undertake a specialist engineering course involving twelve weeks of intensive training.
Achievements: Diagnosis of various systems and machinery including hydraulics, fuel oil, air and water systems, diesel generation, air conditioning, refrigeration, sewage treatment, gas turbines and gearing.
Working in unfamiliar environments and areas including Asia, Middle East, Far East, Africa and South Africa.
