My partner and I are looking to relocate we both have Marketing backgrounds. I am looking for a varied, challenging role that will give me the opportunity to shine from the beginning. I have a real mix of skills that have come from a varied work experience and time at university. I am extremely outgoing which is a symptom of working in promotions during my time at university. I am confident in approaching and communicating with people from all walks of life, backgrounds and ages. I have taught myself to touch type and currently have a typing speed of just over 40 words per minute. I have a wealth of office experience gained from temporary and permanent roles and I am now ready to put the skills I’ve learned into practice and start my career.
Working at University to meet strict deadlines for reports, essays and presentations has helped me become better organised and shown me a need to plan ahead and manage my time. My time working at Enterprising Opportunities also helped me improve my skills at meeting targets and working to strict deadlines. Group work at University has aided my co-operation skills, as team work was highly important in all topics and carried a high percentage of the overall module mark, as have many of my positions of employment, from working onboard a busy ship to working in a bar. Studying, for a business degree that covers a wide range of business topics, including, Marketing, Strategic Management, Accounting and Finance and HR, has given me a greater commercial awareness. I naturally have a creative flair, which is apparent in my reports, essays and presentations and was regularly commented on in feedback from university tutors. I have a real passion to kick start my career and am determined to be highly successful. I achieved a 2:1 result in my Marketing subject.
