I'm a trained journalist from the UK looking for jobs in Dubai. However, I've only had a total of about nine months experience, working for two magazines as a sub editor.

I'm willing to try other sectors, if necessary. Any tips about this or just working in Dubai in general?

Also I want to bring my wife over too. She's a Zimbabwean national and is there currently. I've been told she can get a wife permit. How does this work and is it easy to get?
