Hello
Having been to Dubai earlier this year (2006), I am looking to live and work there, mainly for a change of scenery(and the tax free salary of course!)

I am due back in April 2006 to begin the task of job hunting

I currently work as an IT manager in a technical helpdesk environment.


Can anyone of you good people(creep creep) offer any advice on the current IT situation in Dubai
who? where? etc


The friend I will be staying with works in the construction industry so has no clue as to the IT situation.


Any help or advice would be welcome

I have a friend of mine presently working in UAE. As per our conversation there are lots of IT jobs in Dubai or even in Abu Dhabi, but lots or tons of applicants too.

waoahhh...well thats not a good news...me too...im planning of working at dubai...as IT individual...but my knowledge is limited to EMbedded systems and firmware stuffs...C, C++, visual basic, and JAVA

BTW, what are there prefernces???
