Allow me to introduce myself briefly. My name is Ajith P.R. I am an Engineering graduate in Telecommunications and previously been attached to a Telecom company on contract basis, as a System Engineer-Telecom Services with 20 months of experience in Telecommunications field. I have also worked as a Network admin for 4 months for a BPO company.
To be specific, I handled the Intelligent network (IN-VAS) of a Cellular service provider and possess experience of working in a Central Office enviornment.
I have dealt with network elements ranging from Intelligent peripheral ZXIN10 (ZTE) to Cisco routers and switches, and have tasted different flavors of UNIX including RHEL5, IBM-AIX, HP-UX and Sun Solaris.
I possess an array of technical certifications including CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Engineer), RHCE (Redhat Certified Engineer on RHEL5), and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional). Besides that I am certified in English Typewriting and boast a wonderful typing speed.

• Maintain the average CPU load and usage, disk space, memory, OS logs, core file and Bill directory.
• Responsible in monitoring the System Operating Environment and to check the System alarm information.

Academic Project
Project Title : UPS remote sensing
Project Description : The Project is based on radio remote for home automation and its application for remote battery status sensing of UPS. The battery status of the UPS is first converted into discrete levels and a corresponding DTMF tone is generated using DTMF tone generator, which in turn is Frequency modulated and then transmitted using a telescopic antenna to the PC side. On the PC side, upon receiving the signal, is demodulated and decoded into 4 bits using DTMF decoder and finally interfaced to PC using a microcontroller. Then if the battery level comes down to a critical level, the PC informs the user to to save the present data, after which the system is halted.
Components : DTMF generator and decoder, AT89c52, FM modulator and demodulator, RS232, IC MAX232, Computer, BALUN, Relays, Dipole antenna.
