Australian IT professional specialising in wireless network engineering/support and/or project management; seeking employment in Dubai, within a Wireless Nework Engineering / Project Manager Position.
History: I have in a period of the past 6 years been working full-time in the IT industry as a Wireless Network Support Officer and Computing Support Officer. I have extensive experience in deploying wireless LANs (based on IEEE 802.11b/g) in a campus environment; having been involved in the implementation of one of Australia’s largest campus wireless LAN deployments. As Project Coordinator I played a major role in managing the deployment of over 220 wireless access points across 5 campuses with a student population of 30,000.
My experience with wireless technologies is extensive, having evaluated all major wireless technologoies in the marketplace, and extensive knowledge with regards to wireless LAN deployments and design. 1. Bachelor of Information Technology (Data Comms) degree from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane Australia.
2. Certificate IV – Information Technology (User Support) from Southbank Institute of TAFE.
3. Queensland Government Information Technology Traineeship at Learning Network Queensland (LNQ).
4. Cisco Networking Academy Program (CCNA) at Southbank Institute of TAFE.
5. CCNA certification exam – achieving a result of 946 points (out of 1000 points).
6. PRINCE2 Project Management Course – Foundation Certificate
