Hi

I am an Indian National, Male, 31 years old & Single, here on visit.

Because it is imperative that I stay back for some time … for reasons personal, started searching for a job.

From the little that I saw of Dubai, I found that the future holds good for the Media Industry here.

I have been working in the Film, TV, and Media Industry in India for almost 10 years now, as Creative Director – Visual Media, namely Ad Films, Documentaries etc. I have worked for French and Malaysian agencies as well but never have I had such difficulty, finding a job as in Dubai.

I tried most of the News paper – appointments, and also the recruiters on the net. There are plenty of Media & Production houses here. It’s just that none of them publish a vacancy for a job such as mine. I tried their websites, and all of them have a portal – “Contact Us”, but as we all know it’s meant only for their clients and not job seekers. I even tried asking a couple of companies, through their enquiry portal, on job vacancies in a diplomatic way. No Reply! Not to mention Dubai Media City … No Doors!!

I tried a couple of contacts here, who said they would help …. But the winding road lead no where!

I have my CV (updated), and I should add “Good enough”, but have no idea as to which door to knock! for an entry, nor the portal through which I make an enquiry so as to post my CV.

Should I wait for a “Vacancy call” (which I never had nor found, for a job of such nature) or should I “just approach”? I do not know….

This is just an effort for the same. Please do let me know if there is a way, through which I can apply. I shall be for ever grateful for the help!!!
