Hey everyone.......ok i desperately want to know how i can get through a dental clinic as a trainee coz as much as i tried the MOH people tell me tht unless i have graduated they wont give me permission (I have only completed 2 yrs of BDS).......but why dont they understand tht i dont want to let htese vacations go a waste and i want to practice dentistry as much as i can.....i think another dentist here cud be of some help in letting me know of an alternative

I think that the vast majority of patients wouldn't appreciate someone working on their teeth with only 2 years of dental studies behind them, that's the main problem. If you want to sit back and observe without doing any part of any procedures, then I suppose there is no harm in that. You'd have to get a dentist to agree to you observing.

oh yes tht's pretty much obvious.......i have no intentions of touching the patients.......its just the exposure tht i require and the knowledge of how procedures are carried out...you see i dont understand if we're not allowed to even step into a place where all our future lies thn how do u expect us to be competitive.....just gettting accustomed to the place is wht I want....i hope u ppl dont get me rong

no tht i do have..like after 4 yrs of study we have a year of internship to complete our degree......but it was just for the sake of my devotion to dentistry...u see like rather spending my time in various errands i just thought why not in my own field but i just get the feeling tht wen its so difficult to explain to ppl wht i mean then i shud not expect any outcum.......anywayz thnku all
