It's almost two years now since I applied via online @ "JobsinDubai.com" and no response.

Also, I applied directly to some companies in Dubai and some of them replied to my email but no luck.

I don't know what is the advantage of coming in to Dubai and stay for a couple of weeks and apply for a job. Or stay here in Canada and apply via internet and wait for their response.

In my experience, it depends what field. Pretty much everyone I've come across that does secretarial/pa office admin stuff has always been hired from the local community. My experience is that it's much less hastle to get people that are already settled in Dubai.
More highly skilled employees I've found are mostly transfered or head hunted from abroad, mostly because of the restrictions placed on changing employers.

Dude, jobsindubai.com was a scam and was reported as one in the local newspaper here a few weeks back

Depends in what field u want to work ... but betta come over to dubes and look for a job . Or maybe u have agencies bk home just call
