Hi All,

First post here, so if it's in the wrong place would one of the mods/admins please move it? On the other hand....if it's useful could you consider pinning it?

We recently started a website called http://www.ExpatPetFinder.com dedicated to the following:

1. Helping pet owners to find their lost pets.

2. Providing a place where anyone who has found a lost pet can let the owner know about it.

3. Let people who have pets who need a new home let potential new owners know about it.

4. Assist people who are looking for pets to post up the type of pet they are looking for.

We're trying to get the news out about the site to anyone and everyone as we believe it's desperately needed in the UAE. I've contacted a number of vets here in Dubai as well as Feline Friends. They were very responsive to the site and believe it could help enormously in housing pets and finding lost pets.

If you think the site is a good idea please tell your friends and please encourage people to use it. If you have any suggestions or ideas please let me know on the site's forum and we'll look into them.

Hi All,

Just a quickie update on http://www.ExpatPetFinder.com . There's lots of pets now on the site who are looking for new homes....some of them amazingly cute as well If you can offer any of them a new home please do get in touch with the current owners.

We've also sent out the first newsletter this morning and added a Pet Stories section to the site so people can share their fav stories. I did hear one on the radio a few days ago about Speedy which I've posted.

So if you've not been to the site for a few days please do have a quickie look. And if you've lost/found a pet or are looking to adopt/have a pet that needs a new home please post up.
