I am looking for a stylist who was trained to do hair color on Western hair - I'm really worried that a stylist who isn't used to working with hair with lots of red/gold undertones is going to really mess up my color. Thus far, my meetings with stylists in the local beauty shops has only added to this fear - I brought my color formula from home and they clearly don't understand it.

Are there any Western ladies who could recommend someone?

Try Rosie at Pretty Lady in Karama, she's brilliant. Just had the posh bob done and it looks fab. I am super fussy and had tried the most expensive places here in Dubai - Rosie really is the best.
