Im going to Dubai in April to check out my place that is being built.
However, if it isnt ready, I will be needing a hotel to stay in.
On the Jumeirah Beach...any ideas?

I visited the site - pretty good !

I am arriving on 30 January and wanted to book the most inexpensive hotel for a few days only whilst I look for share accommodation.

The hotel I found on line is Queens Hotel Dubai in Deira. However, it is fully booked. Can you recommend anything else ? I have appointments to see HR companies and corporate organisations all over Dubai, so, it does not really matter where I am staying, although my preference would have been Jumeirah

Is it a good idea not to book and on arrival just go to the hotel ? Is taxi the best form, or are there coaches to the city centre and how much would a ride cost with either of them ?
