How many have made real friendship through DF. what i mean is not the virtual friendship.

since april/may this year, many many of us have met and formed friendships

Great.. I'd like to meet up almost everyone in here.. coz i believe understanding a person and making friendship is like getting the experiences the other person has gone through without really having to go through it.
every relationship is a new experience..

I would love to meet some people here,and I am defiantly coming to visit Dubai in few months but hope i can make it for one of the gathering because it will be nice to put a face to the name.

thats the idea behind having regular gatherings and meetings......so that we can meet each other, and then put faces to the usernames.

am sure there will be quite a few who have PMed each other and gotten to know people more / better. correct me if i am wrong on this....

I must say DF counts as members a bunch of good and decent people who have in short time forged some frendships which will transcend life in Dubai. It also helps if you can consume lots of C2H5OH and sing Kareoke (the worse the better).

I'll know more once I meet some of these people

The forums have been good to me, I've made friends here and hopefully will have a chance to make a few more as I’m sure you will as well.

You have to remember most of us come here for a job and many of us likely don't know anyone when we first move here, many people are in the same boat and if you are open to meeting people and friendly who knows what'll happen.

One of my closest friend's in Dubai is a guy I met whilst standing in line for 4 hours waiting to get our driver's licenses.

The DF meet are a great opportunity to meet with others, hope to see all of you at the next one

I'll wait for the DF meet. coz driving license test seems like a long go.
got to get my visa first. yea otherwise i've made some friends .. ones staying in the same hotel apartment place which is in burdubai... but hardly meet them coz most of them work in the free zone.

No wonder I never met anybody. It took me 20 minutes to get my license

This forum has introduced me to a load of really nice people. I have a lot of really good friends in Dubai already and they have all integrated into the forum community as well. Its nice to meet nutters like us!
