Recently I have received an offer. I would like to have your comments.

Briefly about me! Indian engineer with 12 years of experience.

Offer is the following

Basic Salary 19500 Dirhams
24 working days vacation per annum
13 months pay per annum (bonus month at Year End)
Return air fare to home country per annum for family
Medical refund 75% of expense
School fees refund 80% of expense within limits
Company Life insurance
Moving in allowance of $3600



Is it wise to bring my car from Kuwait. (camry'04)

also tell them 24 days leave is only acceptable in the first year of service, 30 days in subsequent years - as per uae law

also ask them for how they structure thier gratuity payments - inclusive or exclusive of the package

get the 13th month bonus added to your official contract, actually all your perks should be added to your official contract. your end of service gratuity payment is made on the basis of your last basic package (without perks)

find out what the 80% school fee limit is, schooling is expensive in duabi

your moving allowance wont be enough if you plan on bringing the car, unless you want to drive down. I woudl say sell it and get a new one here. You deserve it
