All of a sudden, there is an irresistible craving for a delicious slice of cheesecake and I was wondering where I can get the best one in Dubai.

Anyone care to recommend?

Grocery? Carrefour, Spinneys

Restaurant? There's Dome Cafe in Burjuman...ohhhh

It is a shame...it is not possible to get good baked NY cheesecake here! Its all heavy and doughy and very, very sweet.

Anyone who has lived in either NY or London will tell you that a good cheesecake should be light and fluffy. There used to be a bakery in London called Grodzinski's that sold the best in the world!

Limetree, on Jumeriah Beach Road, next to the Mosque and The One.

They do awesome cakes, incl my fav which is the carrot cake, and you get one heck of a large slice.

almond fudge cheesecake from Limetree = yum yum

the best cheescake is german orange cheesckae=yum +capucinno

I have yet to experience good cheesecake in Dubai. They always put that gelatin coating over the top which just ruins it, and the texture and crust is never that exceptional. If anyone has had cheesecake factory they have really yummy ones. Mmmmmmm

what about strawberry on the top?

There's a french patissery in Burjaman mall which has some delicious looking cheesecakes

The one from Spinneys is decent too

I think she means the Coffeebean and Tea Leaf, it's a coffee house chain.

Lime Tree Triple chocolate brownies are the best.
