My friend's looking for a 'special' mobile number, one of those goooood sought after ones. I know that they cost a lot more, but does anyone know where to find them or where to look for them? Do we have to 'know somebody' from etisalat?! Or is there a place to go to where they sell those numbers?!

Never heard of such thing Belle, but maybe if you go to several mobile phone trading company you will be lucky. You can choose for yourself the set of numbers that you want.

Etisalat offer special numbers...like a VIP package. Think its called Najm; can't remember.
Check on www.etisalat.ae
Check also the Waseet Blue Pages -classifieds. Sometimes you get numbers there.

I used to work for Jumbo - we used to get some nice numbers. Nothing too great, since the Etisalat people always removed them first, but better than nothing.

actually 3 of my mobiles, my Toronto number, Calgary number, and UK number all end in 3299 (FAYZ) but in all 3 places I didn't pay any extra for it, just asked if the number was available and they gave it to me.

for those that really have a desire for a good number there are two new area codes coming up 055 (DU) and 056 (Etisashit) if you really have a desire go on their websites when these first come available and choose all the good numbers you want, I'm guessing that is what alot of these resellers will be doing.

Woah, didn't expect so many replies- i thought nobody would know anything about this! How naive.. Anyway, loads of good links and advice, thanks a lot u guys. I can start my research now.. A friend of mine wants one, and since he is a 'special friend' i thought i'll help by asking u people!

I've heard that the Real vip numbers are 'reserved for the top local vips, and are not available for normal people..
