Sandstorm ... Aug 16, 2006
Just now..

I'm busy on my desk ...doing my job though my boss is not around...(APL - arbab )
And then suddenly...thick dust covered Deira...I can see it on the office window..
It's like you're in Elm Street..
This is one part I don;t like Dubai..sandstorm aside from the fact that it does not rain... ( ohh I miss rain!)

How often does this happen? sandstorm...

Wow, I just took a look, unreal.

Normally after this you can get a little rain shower to clear the air, lets hope anyway.

And then it will be car washing time :lol:

In Dubai, we get a lot of these sandstorm. Its scary,sometimes it zero visibility.

Did you experience playing in the rain kind of thing? I miss that too.... :?

I wish that little rain shower will really come...
Back home it almost rain the whole year round that's why i really missed it...staying at your room ...hearing the raindrops...or go out with your umbrella...and seeing the flood... then government will declare no work! :lol:

from my window it looks like its cold and stormy outside "like that will ever happen in dubai" and it feels so Cozy and nice :oops:

It's funny, you really think you miss the rain, then when you get back to a country which has rain, 5 minutes is enough to get you real depressed and wishing for the blue sky of Dubai.

I don;t think so...I was used to experience a lot of rain...and blue sky...we have that as well..and rainbow after the rain...ohh nice one..
but if none stop flood...that's the time I would wish to come back here..

same here , dont get me wrong i like the rain not more than 25 min ... cos there s nothing like the blue sky and shinning RA...

Don't you guys love ..raining the whole day..and not to do anything but stay at home...feel the cold not from the a/c and watch a dvd or your fav tv show..and drink hot coco or coffee...

or am i just a homebody person..who;s too lazy to go out :)

I think G thought Corco has an umbrella...so long legs for the water down/flood... :?

and Corcs..after the stain...now can withstand one hour of rain...must be a special white dress..where u get it? must have one... :D
