hi, anyone in banking sector in this forum? what do people [male] working in banking sector in dubai wear? formal, as in suit or just business shirt and tie? i am on the IT side of the bank, any chance for business casual wear [short sleeve shirt or polo shirt]?

i will be in dubai within 2 months, hopefully, and need to make sure i pack the right clothing. where i am now, i am wearing business casual everyday.

Shirt and tie (and trousers). Jacket probably not necessary unless at management level or sales.

Short sleeves ok but I always think it looks odd with tie.

Pure cotton is better than polyester/cotton mix.

Ask bank what their dress code is to get answer on polo shirts.
