If you have the tracks on a lappy I can host one at my place. Should be more than adequate.

thats the thing mate...i don't have minus 1 tracks with supered on lyrics..though now a days PS 2 has come out with 4 kareoke DVDs and 2 cordless mike deals...for about 300 drihams...worth investing in...though the song choice is quite limited...at your place you mean...do you have an amp which has the neccesary inputs for mikes etc?...

The PS2 deal is the one I was looking at. And since I'm going through Sg and KL next month no doubt I can stock up on tracks.

that would be awesome mate...and i have a projector...so there ya go...karoeke...cheap and cheerful...and at the comfort of your home...embaressment galore without the pain of inflicting it on random strangers...except the forum members of course...

Seriously just wait for the PS3 to come out you can download singstar tracks of the net directly to the PS3 harddrive .... that will be awesome!! Although likely to be a wee bit more pricy!!

to echo ians questions...PS3 seems like a costly proposition and god alone knows when it will be out in the UAE...i think the launch price for it is set at 2500 dirhams...agreed you get a hard drive and the works with it...but i'd rather invest in a cheap kareoke dvd player which would double up as a spare home entertainment system... ...and not an avid gaming fan...except when it comes to the fighting ones...karate do!!

Actually since I don't have a TV at the moment its still sat under my bed in a box!! Will bring it to work one day and you can have a look!!
