Hello all, I am moving to Dubai next month for work, I am wondering if you can import your car into Dubai and what are the conditions to do so. Do the car remain registered temporary till I decide to leave the Dubai, do I have to bring it back ? or it can be register permanently? Is there any regulation for the age of the car?
Any information would greatly appreciate.

U can find lot of nice cars in Dubai , u dont need to bring one wid ya. Its same as brining the girl friend in Russia or bringing the wine in France

Thanks a lot guys and sorry for posting in the wrong place. Well, I know that Dubai have a lot of nice cars, I have 4 cars here in Toronto Canada, and I want to bring 2 of them, MB s500 & BMW 850i..
So I will check the Auto section and I am sure I will have some answers form this great forum.

If they are old, don't bother. Easier (and cheaper) in the long run to buy here.

They are also about to bann cars over 15 years old being registered here .... just something to think about
