How can that happen if the thing hasn't even been built yet?
Jumeirah Lake Towers is under construction and is to have most towers finished in 2008. They started in 2003 and said all 80 towers would be finished by 2005. Seriously though, anyone who'd think 80 towers can be finished in 2 years is an idiot.

Actually theres no reason why you couldnt build 80 towers in 2 years ... just comes down to having the right amount of resources.

2 years to complete one tower is plenty of time so you just need 80 teams working on it!

It's that kind of thinking that has lead to the long delays in people waiting to take hold of projects.

I can assure you, it simply doesn't work that way because of:

* finite resources - you can't simply multiply the order by 80.
* Labour - obtaining, training and coordinating
* Project Management
* Quality Assurance
* Financing

All these things compound to create problems.

Believe me I know better than most that practically it would be difficult and cost prohibitive for one company to try and attempt building 80 towers at once ..... but in theory there is more than enough resource in the world to build 80 towers in a 2 year time frame ... like I said in my original post it comes down to having the right amount of resources.

Which of the above 5 points are of concern in the UAE?
