Autodrome challenge 2006

The race will take place at the venue ( day and time to be announced yet). There is a lot of anticipation before the event. whos gonna win it?will it be cargirl whos challenging her counterparts or one of the men? Only time will tell.

This is the suggested formatt of the event - please let me know what you think??



Individuals Group Sprint Race


Dhs. 250/- per person


Number of drivers: minimum 10 to maximum 30


Number of karts: 10 to 30(max)


Timing proposal: (total duration of the event: 1 hour 40mn)



- 20mn: Drivers sign in + drivers getting changed

- 10mn: Briefing

- Qualifying session: 5 Flying laps (approx. 10mn)

- 10mn break

- Semi Final: 10 laps (approx. 15mn)

- 10mn Break

- Final: 12 laps (approx. 18mn)

The race includes:

- Marshals
- Mechanics
- Timing of the race
- Helmets
- Overalls
- Gloves
- Safety cover

its cool but will people out here survive for 30 laps + 5 laps practice? we had drivers changing after 10 laps

I think this is a one on one event not a team event

The trouble is when we do it ....

A saturday is best for me as I have to work Friday evenings ...

So then perhaps a Thursday ...

These are their timings
Wednesday: 10:30pm – 12:00midnight

Thursday: 6:00pm – 7:30pm & 10:30pm – 12:00midnight

Friday: 3:30pm – 5:00pm & 10:30pm – 12:00midnight

Saturday: 10:30pm – 12:00midnight

I would say limit competitors to the original quota of 20. Don't want delays cutting into driving times!

I think we can all pay by cash on the night or by one credit card but I need to book 7 days in advance ....

10 30 difficult i am working on friday have to go to RAK i guess i will just come by say a quick hi and run off then.
