My commisserations to the poor cats mother, who will no doubt be running around Meoooowwwing after her little one.

How come you did not swerve to miss the poor innocent little soul, shame on you!

I bet you some poor little girl is crying over the fact that her little kitten did not come home to be fed.

making you feel any better?

I would have swerved if I could have, or stopped, but she jumped out, there was a railing on my left and a car on my right and behind me, and i was driving at 120 (speed limit)! It happened so quickly.

RIP Kitty.

Unfortunately, there have been some recent news stories about teens throwing kittens from cars on SZR to see how long they last before being hit. Those assholes are likely future serial killers.

Also, this time of year there are people abandoning pets because they don't want to pay for boarding at a kennel or cattery. This means that animals do end up near major roads and killed.

Finally, there are people who are too cheap to spay or neuter their pets, so there is an overabundance of animals that need homes in Dubai. Some of these poor kittens and puppies end up on the roads after being abandoned.

So, prettypenny, it was definitely terrible what happened. I always get cranky when I hear about such stories because it really is a shame that these little domestic animals have to die on a road instead of being looked after safely in someone's home as they should be.

agree, or at least be put down humanely.

people who do the above, should themselves be thrown out of a moving vehicle, see how they damn well like it.
