Hi,

Just wondering, if anybody in Dubai is using this new Samsung LCD flatscreen?? Bought one here in Hong Kong to send to Dubai, the shopkeeper said that I can use it in UAE.

But when they delivered, the technician told me that there is no channel frequency for United Arab Emirates. It has channel frequency menu for America, Europe, UK, HK & OZ but not UAE... If this doesn't work in Dubai then I think I need to return it back to the shop within 10 days.

Help!!!

I was under the impression HK worked on pal system, but also that most TV's produced now were multisystem, so that seems odd. Our TV's bought in Australia, Vietnam and Singapore all work fine.

There is no reason for it not to work in Dubai.

With the sole exception of North America, all TVs sold are multi-system.

Could you tell me what system do you use in UAE? PAL or NTSC?
