To Arnie's chagrin and Kanell's delight I've finally managed to recycle my ever growing number of cans and bottles. I did it at Spinney's on Al Wasl road (in Jumeirah 3 ?). They have large bins in the back and it is hasle free (simply dump the stuff there).

If I lived in Michigan I would have made some cash (10 cents USD return per can or bottle). The total for all the cans and bottles I dropped off (6 large garbage bags) would probably amount to more money that the stock people or cashiers make in a week (or even month) for working 12 hours a day seven days as week!!!! Holy cow!

So it was you i hit on the head with the rubbish bag then, my goal is to get my rubbish to fly upwards to the rooftop pool, problem is at the moment is theres never anyone up there

You will be shocked to learn that the pool "officially" openned yesterday 25-5. They have a lifeguard upthere. How ridiculous is that!!!! Some SUV's are bigger than that pool. I still think they'll be closing it again in less than a week!

Slight correction; my pool is bigger than the pool in the building where I live at the moment! I'll have to put an ad for 2 lifeguards then (but luckily I have a bit more sense than...)
