Studio/1BR immediately for 8 months from n Sh. Zayed Rd Apr 29, 2006
I've been around month in Dubai and would like go out from Bur Dubai. I checked + called the adds from Gulf News classifieds, but could not find anything suitable.

If you know any suitable Studio or 1BR apartment with facilities (or 2BR reasonable price) let me know your recommendations.

Budget 7000-9000 AED per month (furnished preferred).

I could not find anything sensible less than 110 or 120k (unfurnished) per year.... and nothing for eight months.

Greens and Deira you can find...

I found nice furnished (shared) Villa apartment from Jumeira with facilities ... I'm happy - it's bit expensive (thus less than budget i mentioned) - good location nice people (few) and big pool.

If I can find nice gym near by, it is perfect.

I'm going to kick mysef for not just ignoring you but what is the title of this thread? I'm pretty sure it is N Shk Zayed Road, not any of the places you mentioned.

yes.. actually N was a typo in subject line. I was planning to move Greens, but I visited there and it looks like Eastern European suburb. Second though was to go Marina, but if I was going back to Europe (not Eastern) after 8 months, I would not like to live in construction site for all time.

I lived 4 weeks in Bur Dubai and decided not to stay there or similar area.

ZKR looks good for me, but as I told, could find anything good and I made some dozens of phone calls. I checked Classifieds etc ads several times. You might see interesting adds, but these are mainly rent out already or only for one year or more and pricing level was typicall higher.

SZR is expensive... You'd be hard pressed to find anything furnished in your budget. Sorry.

yeah late, finding housing is just a pain and most real estate agents are a waste of skin. I was lucky though I found a 2 br furnished in a pretty good building on SZR for 100k but it wasn't easy.

I know what you mean about the greens and marina, not the areas i'd choose.

I'm glad you found something though.
