About the banner it's true
Most people asking questions on here have never used a forum before, and then regular posters get annoyed and say use the Search function.
Rightly so - but it can be off-putting for those that don't know how to navigate a forum

point taken, although it does become a little disheartening, if you spend 1/2 hour drafting a good reply to a query and then a week later someone asks exactly the same question

Oh I am saying please put a banner up or make the search button more prominant. I am relatively new to this forum and on my first few visits I didn't see it as the google search button is more prominent than the forums search

Any of the moderators know if this can be done???
I have a sneaking suspicion though, that this is a “template”-type forum so customizations can’t be done???

Anyone know?

Actually Scarlett you have a point. I will speak to other Mods and Andy at Admin.

But in fairness to Dxbsoul i can only echo his point that a lot of us do have and give time to help people out, but the same questions come up time and time again, it can sometimes get tedious answering the same questions.

After speaking with Admin, the Search has been put in bold and if you notice under Google search we have added another option to google on Dubai forums or the Web.

Hows that for Service ?

Definitely you were a great help to us! Some of your posts should be in FAQ's or some such sticky or link somewhere.
