Hi All

My employer who also happens to be closely related to me currently has an ongoing court case. He has asked me to hand in my passport as a guarantor so that he could renew his Emirates ID which expired. I handed it in and he collected his passport. He has already renewed his emirates ID and I have asked him to come with me to give his passport back and return mine but he seems reluctant and it seems like he is just prolonging the process. I would like to know what is the standard process of getting back my passport and if he does not want to, can I inform the police? Is there a website or anything where I can find more information on this? Thanks in advance!
