The worlds top 50 bars has just been revealed and London scores 5 of the top 10 places.

The top spot goes to PDT in NYC. It's quite a small place, apparently, and you enter via a phone booth which is novel! You can order hotdog and fries in from next door. Random! I want to go there

Dubai features twice in the top 50, coming in at 21 with the Skyview Bar and 49 with Zuma.
I've been to the Skyview Bar on a number of occasions with Mr Emirati and I have to say I thought it was overrated with very little atmosphere and over priced wine. Nice view though. I think I preferred the bar at the top of Emirates Towers, but it's a while since I was in there.

I like watching the locals get drunk in the Buddha Bar too.

But London is the place to go it seems. I'm heading that way tomorrow but I expect the most I'll manage is a pint of Heinekin in the bar in Euston Station. I'm classy, me

I wouldn't say it's amusing to watch anyone getting drunk, especially when you know full well 99.99999% of them then go and get in their cars and drive off! Stay well away.

Can't remember a knock knock joke..........

One morning a woman was walking out of her front door, when she notices a strange little man at the bottom of her garden.

"You're a goblin," she says, "I caught you and you owe me three wishes!". So the goblin replies "OK, you caught me fair and square, what's your first wish?". The woman stops and thinks for a second, "I want a huge mansion to live in.", goblins replies "OK, you've got it.". Woman again thinks it over, "My second wish is an X6" "OK, you've got that too." "My last wish is a million dollars!". The goblin then says "OK, you've got it. But to make your wishes come true you have to have sex all night with me." "OK then, if that's what it takes..."

Next morning the little man wakes the woman up.

"Tell me," says the man, "how old are you?" "I'm 27", she replies

"F.uck me", says the man, "27 and you still believe in goblins!"

No good knock knock joke either, just wanting to say I always love going out in London and always look forward to it. Will try to check out some of the best bars, although some seem posh, I like more sleazy bars. Love of the common people!

Isn't Zuma more of a Sushi place though? Its not really a bar IMO.

I quite like the pubs around the Kings Cross area in London. I like to grab a seat in the corner and watch people. Sometimes it isn't easy to tell whether they are man or woman.

I was in a bar on Saturday afternoon right opposite the Houses of Parliament. It was full of old servicemen who were down for the Rememberance Sunday parade. I sat next to a group of them and listened into the conversation they were having with two French gay guys. One was a real pretty boy and one looked like he had gone ten rounds with Joe Frazier. The French men were being very polite and the old soldiers/airmen had had a few sherbets and were telling how they'd sailed down to Aden, during the Second World War, which they described as the arsehole of the world. This caused the pretty one to nearly choke on his Guiness.

The wierdst bar I have ever been in was in New York. They had a girl dancing on a ledge behind the bar, which in itself wasn't strange but she looked as if she'd been attacked and fought him off. Her stockings were ripped to shreds. The toilets were in complete darkness except for a red light in every cubicle which shone down into the pot. I did a double take when I flushed. I was about to call 911.

Sadly, drink driving happens in other countries too.

I saw a funny thing on the news this morning. Well I thought it was quite funny. A train pulled into the station and a lady got off the train. She had had one too many, staggered a bit and fell under the train. No harm done, the train didn't pull away and run her over or anything.
She didn't feel a thing.

Well Zuma is a nice place , but more for dinner though i think . My favorite dish is Black Cod fish and it is one of the amazing Cod i have ever tried.
