Hey guys, who else loves running?

I already registered for a couple of half marathons and 10 km races?

The big plan is to run the standard chartered Dubai marathon in January.

The running scene in UAE and especially Dubai is thriving, there are many running clubs, like Dubai Creek Striders, Dubai Road Runners, Mirdif Milers, Abras AC, Abu Dhbai Striders and Fitness FIrst. Here are some videos taken during training session of clubs in Dubai (a friend of mine filmed it by the way )

Are those races in Dubai? I am always looking for cool races (especialy half marathons), but in the Middle East race opportunities seem to be small.

Wow, good luck, and have fun training!

I love running, but I'm not the marathon type of guy. The most I usually run are 3-5 km cross country's. That too in fairly average temperature. I can't imagine running a marathon in the sweltering heat, with the sun's rays pounding on your forehead!

If you are referring to the Dubai marathon, I think temperatures in January are pretty much allright. Looking at the finish times, it is a fast marathon.
If I ever run it, I will the person in orange.
