For climbing the stairs of the Burj Khalifa? What is the fastest time? Does anybody know?

I don't know whether you can climb the stairs. The only entrance I know of is in Dubai Mall and you cannot climb from there (I don't think). There will be different entrances for the apartments and hotel of course and I've never been in there.

There's bound to be emergency exits down the stair well in case of fire!

theres 2909 stairs from ground to the top 160th floor... dont think anyone has yet climbed them but in case of a fire whoever lives on top is basically screwed...

I'm not sure, but if no one has done it yet, I'd love to try!
EDIT- Just looked it up, apparently it's hard to get clearance for the climb. An Emirati chap attempted to climb the stairs for charity, but the Burj's management denied him... I guess the only way to do it then, is alone with no press haha If you get confronted, just say you're exercising

Dont Know but im sure spider man (chap from Germany or somewhere) tried climbing it...
