Very interesting. Here we have a woman, who seems to be normal doing what must viewers will think as something very dumb/irrational/unfair. What happened here?
Let's call her Helga. Helga most likely finished the Swedish equivalent of highschool. Not really bright, not really stupid, a normal average Swedish woman who likes meatballs, shopping at the Ikea and hiking or sailing in the weekend. And probably joined the P-service with some sense of justice. What went wrong?
It's not just with Helga that I ask this question. There similar stories out there. A family getting a 1000 Euro bill from the munipicality for cleaning the road after the husband was hit by a car, died and left some blood on the road, or after a bulldozer bulldozed some cars, the owners of the cars got billed for the tow car. Cant those people think?
One reason why Helga is doing this, is because at her job, she gets pay raises or promotion based on the income she generates, meaning writing fines.
But, the larger pictures reminds me a little bit of the Stanford prison experiment (which got much attention after Abu Graib), which showed that put in the "right" circumstances most (good) people can do evil things. What Helga is doing isnot evil, but it warrants shaking the head while looking at the floor while putting your lips together. Scary thing is, most people could become like Helga. Somewhere down the line Helga stopped thinking for herself, but obeyed her superiors. The goals of her superiors became her main drive/motivation, instead of her own morals and values.
Moral of the story, never stop thinking for yourself, or you might be in the next pic.

What is happening here, you are so right FD. I asked myself the same question 100's of times! I went back and forth. Then I made an astute observation. Its Ray posting! Eureka!
Then I went through the link he posted again. And it was only then I got it..........It was the Muslims!

Jonkers , I checked. The article is about rioters.

Other stories say the rioters are youth; no mention of religion.

Maybe you're suffering the vapors and seeing things?
