kiangr ,Yup I agreed with you,if you are using correct tool and white hat method you can out rank competitors.

SEO wise thinking is still a live and usable beside the marketing tools.

SEO is never dead, It is essentially reequired to rank sites to top at google , get leads and promote business

Old method of SEO is no more effective. There are more effective ways of promoting business online and thus old methods are almost dead.

Guys! share some new techniques and experience here please.



Also i need solution to increase traffic on my website as i have done all the stuff both onsite and doing offsite. Apprecaite if anyone help me

Pardon me, Dont be offended, I am very new in SEO. I hope no one will mind my incompetency and will try to consult me accordingly.

There have been rumors of dodging search engines and that techniques lasted for couple of years, fortunately for real websiters and unfortunately for spammers these techniques have been identified hence the crawlers or spiders are now intelligent enough to capture these things and rate the page negative.

There are also SEO Service providers who claim to rank your site on first page of search engine in the first month but that kind of campaign could blacklist a site if the quality of the site doesnt follow the relevancy constraints which are now a day used as priority in ranking of backlinks to the site.

Competitor analysis so far is one good technique which I found very usefull for working on your own website but tracing the footsteps of competitor as it is , is not again a very wise decision to make.

Software like SpyGlass and someother give you a very good Competitor analysis and you can use them for your own site too but choosing a competitor is itself a big thing.
