Ambassador reminded me about a visit I made to Mall of the Emirates lately when he mentioned MacDonalds on another topic.

I was eating in the food court at MoE and watching people. Hardly anyone, in fact no one but me, cleared their table after themselves.

Beth and I had finished what we were eating and as we got up to leave I piled all the rubbish on the tray and was about to take it to the bin. Beth asked what I was doing and pointed out that there was someone employed to do it.

I usually clean up after myself and that includes food courts.

Do you clear your own table in this type of restaurant?

I tend to clean up after myself. I makes me feel uneasy to leave rubbish on the table.

Me too. When I sit down I don't want to sit at a table that has someone's left overs on it.

Its kind of lazy to just walk away. Well that's how it feels to me.

I don't like fast food. PF Chang is good in MoE
