There have been some changes since the last time you visited DF; I've had a name change (though it rhymes with my old nic that you might have known me by), and most of the old crowd no longer come to this watering hole

I was reading about Mansoor al Hallaj, a mystic about 9th century AD. He said: "I searched for God with the eyes of my heart, and when I found Him, I said 'Who are you?'. And He said, 'I am YOU!' "

My thoughts on religion haven't really changed all that much to be honest. I have been thinking about it a lot more since I've gotten married but nothing has altered all that much. I went through my questioning 'phase' a long time ago until I decided on what I believe at the moment was what was best for myself. I try to stay away from governments and organizations of people who claim to follow religion and excuse their actions through it - if anything actually, I've kind of just stopped following any form of politics on anything just because it usually ends with me being horribly depressed or ed for one reason or another. I don't even talk about it with friends and family anymore, no matter how much they may try to get me into a conversation with them about!

I am doing quite well myself. Depends on what time of the day you ask me that question, when I might answer differently

The name change? Well, I got bored with the last one. Well, no, my brand new computer crashed, and all passwords & swear words were forever made out of my reach! So I am calling myself by my real name now (just kidding)
