Arabic-English "tandem"? Dec 20, 2012
When I came to Germany I started learning the language by "tandem". That means I tought a German my mothertongue and he tought me his. We took turns speaking both languages. That's a great way to learn a language and very popular here in Germany. I'd like to be able to speak English more fluently. So maybe I'll find a native English speaker as tandempartner, when I return to Dubai?

I can really recommend the tandem-method for learning Arabic or any other language! :)

That makes sense, have been on an on-off Arabic learing endeavour for sometime. The thing is I really dont need it, in Dubai, English is more than sufficient....but would love to be an Arabic speaker. :)
