I have had a lovely farewell message from Chocoholic this morning. I'm not really sure it's goodbye as she has had more comebacks than Englebert Humperdink.

Well done Dot (XXXXXX) for single handedly destroying the forum between yourself and your band of numpties.

At least I amde it back to moderator status - that's a kick in the nuts for Sage.

Enjoy having the forum to yourself, because I, like everyone else before me are sick of you.

I have deleted my surname although most know it by now

I think it's a case of sour grapes all round.

To be honest she is one of the most stupid people that I have ever come across.

Can anyone tell me what she has contributed to the forum?

Moderator status, so what! as most people on here know I was the one who resigned my Moderator status prior to all Moderators being deleted.

If she is really leaving, I say great, she will not be missed by me that is for sure.

She doesn't appear to put her brain into gear before hitting the keypad.

It's sad a moderator posts personal information like that.

It's almost like members who info-mine, post private information, spread racism and viciously attack others using se.xist slurs think they're immune from punishment by the administrator.

"er I've contributed a damn site more to the forum than you ever have! You only ever pop up to insult people - so who is the sad and stupid one? I think that would be you!
Enjoy having the forum all to yourself and the ban of numpties - you've all wrecked it and Andy is daft for not getting shot of the lot of you.

Was that her final final farewell?

I dont understand why the "Sad Huffy Band" always want to have someone banned and only then feel happy!

May be they feel threatened by having posters around that they don't like/ can't get along with?
I've never called for anyone to be banned and the only one I really wanted to see the back of was Physco Sym. Even then I never sent any PM complaining about him.
I've always thought this place was big enough to accommodate everyone.
Looking back on the history of DF, there has always been in house squabbling and I remember when I found DF, it was like a mini war zone with so and so fighting with so and so. I was even pointed to a topic Chocs started called 'f***k You All' or something

C'est La Vie.

DF will survive. Posters are like London buses. On minute there's none and then two show up.

Silly you, I have almost 1000 posts and chocoholic must have quit 5 times in my tenure...I distinctly remember one time she quit when her parting words where 'go f**k yourselves'... She'll be back - I am sure.

Chocs has been a fixture on DF for many years. She contributed a lot of useful stuff but also rubbed many people the wrong way.

No matter what, I hate to see her go. DF won't be the same without Chocs!

There is only a small band of people who want others to leave the forum and they don't seem to be around at the moment.
No one is forcing Chocs to leave DF. It is her decision whether to leave or stay.
For me, I agree, DF wont be the same without her.

Well, no one asked Chocs to leave! By her own admission, she couldn't stand the rest of us posting here; what she called the numpties, and that is the only reason that she left.

That's why I said we need a psychiatrist to convince her that we are not numpties!

Or at any rate to make her believe that what she calls numpties, cannot actually harm her .

It's like a Prince concert, only with the timely encore (and no one really wants a reappearance).
