People are being urged to drink local water and shun the expensive imported H2O.
A new website has been started to name and shame those outlets which refuse to serve local water.
I think this is a great idea. I'm tired of staff shoving Evian and other garbage waters at me, which quite frankly taste vile. I'll take the local water any day.

Water is the least of my concerns in a restaurant. But I think they do have a point, the cheaper local bottled water should be an option at least.

I agree, I really do not like to be charged a small fortune for a bottle of French Water!
