So, this is it - I spent my vacation in Dubai and met a really nice guy. He gave me his card and phone number but somehow I've lost it along with some others of my possessions. I'm really desperate to find him but all I know is his first name, where he comes from and where he is working currently. Do you have any fresh ideas how to find him?

That was the first thing to try - no result at all. Not that I'm that surprised considering I know just a few things about the guy

Some things just aren't meant to be. Chalk it up to having a nice time and move on. Plus 'Nice guy' and 'Dubai' don't really go together, he could bery well be one of the 'Summer Bachelors' having some fun while the wife and children are away for the holidays.

Chocoholic , you are probably right. Sometimes Fate gives us signs, although by now Her signs for me turned out to be false. Moreover, I constantly feel something unfinished and one of the things I hate most is to start something and not to finish it. And that's exactly the thing that doesn't give me peace.

First of all, I am not here to date anyone. And I never said that the one I was searchig for is someone "of my dreams". Besides, I don't understand what makes you think that I have forgotten him. And what I really don't understand is what exact meaning you put in "party", because obviously it has a different meaning for me.

Well, guys,nice chit-chatting with you, but I am really sick and tired of it all. It seems like I'll not have the chance to find the guy, neither will meet him again. At least I'll keep that good feeling I have impressed someone with my writing style.

Usual way of finding people is to put ad in news paper or look in a place where that person likely to hangout. Later may borderline on stalking.

The problem is that I don't live in Dubai, so I can't do any of that.

SVE, all that I can say at this stage is that it appears that the effort that you are going to expend in finding The One is more than what you would require in finding an altogether new Soul Mate for yourself. May I suggest that you go that route instead?
Even if you forego the Party that I suggested earlier. Although, if you give it some thought, that wasn't such a bad idea. You could invite some potential Soul Mates (only you know who they might be) and get them all together. Like lambs to the slaughter......sorry maybe not an appropriate example, but you know what I mean
