Is it just me who finds other people's ringtones annoying?

Yesterday was a bad day. I don't particularly want to be reminded that Usher wants a lady in the street and a freak in his bed, yeah, when I'm having my bedsheets counted in at the launderette, nor do I want to hear the latest Bollywood tune every six minutes ( on average) when Mrs next to me on the beach gets a call!

And that annoying Nokia ring tone! I was in a store last night when someone's phone started to ring. Men were desperately searching their man bags for their phones when the culprit decided to answer his, he had been holding it in his hand and didn't realise it was his.

What is wrong with having a quiet ring like off of the olden days? Alternatively you could have your phone on silent 24/7 like Beth. She has 2 phones and never answers either of them.

Well the annoying thing for me is when I like the music a particular ring tone is playing and the owner answers his/her phone right away! Bummer! Why couldn't she let it play a while longer?
OTOH, that irritating Nokia ring tone is allowed to go on and on for minutes on end
