PA envoy: Holocaust was ‘greatest crime in history'

BERLIN – Sitting in this city, where the echoes of the Holocaust are everywhere, Palestinian Authority envoy Salah Abdel Shafi told a group of Israeli journalists last week that in his mind “the Holocaust is the biggest crime in human history.”

“This was a human tragedy that hit humanity,” said Abdel Shafi, who has headed the PA mission in Germany for the past two years.

“Jews were a major victim, though not the only ones,” he said, mentioning the Nazi’s murder of homosexuals and gypsies as well. “I think we should look at it as a human tragedy.”

Abdel Shafi’s comments about the Holocaust are unusual for a PA official, especially in light of a doctoral thesis written by PA President Mahmoud Abbas at a Russian university in the 1980s in which he described the Holocaust as a “Zionist fantasy, the fantastic lie that six million Jews were killed.”

Abdel Shafi said that Abbas had since clarified to American Jewish organizations that he did not deny the Holocaust, but that the “discussion” in his thesis was rather about numbers.

“We don’t deny the Holocaust,” Abdel Shafi said.

Like I said after jews took control of Europeans with the rise of Rothschilds' banking(financial) power, then every leader of Europe became their agent to commit atrocities on the people of Europe.. Jews are also being slaughtered by these same soldiers. Interestingly the ADL never criticizes any of the Bushes for this.

1943: February 18th, Zionist, Izaak Greenbaum, head of the Jewish Agency Rescue Committee, in a speech to the Zionist Executive Council states,

The Rothschilds take a giant step towards their goal of world domination when the second, "League of Nations," called the, "United Nations," was approved this year.

1946: On July 22 the future Prime Minister of Israel, Ashkenazi Jew, David Ben-Gurion, orders another future Prime Minister of Israel, Ashkenazi Jew, Menachem Begin, to carry out a terrorist attack on the King David Hotel in Palestine, to try and drive out the British. As a result of this 91 people were killed, most of them civilians: 28 British, 41 Arabs, 17 Jews, and 5 others. Around 45 people are injured.

Menachem Begin went on to proudly proclaimed himself as, "the father of modern terrorism." Just to put the gravity of the attack on the King David Hotel into perspective, it was at the time the biggest death toll as a result of single terrorist action ever and was only surpassed over forty years later by the Bombing of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie.

^On a related note, the 1930 Hope-Simpson report on Palestine carried out for the British government details that the earliest colonies set up in Palestine were those of PICA - Palestine Jewish Colonisation Association - set up by a Rothschild. The newer colonies were 'Zionist colonies' - names they gave themselves.

The report pointed out that the PICA colonials got on well with the local Arabs and employed them etc. They had a positive impact and got on well with the Palestinians. The 'Zionists' on the other had segregationist views and Hope-Simpson prophetically pointed out that these would cause trouble if they grew to greater numbers in Palestine.

Berrin's conspiracy theories have been discussed and dismissed and condemned by the non-banned members in recent threads. Had you spent less time trolling and more time participating, you'd have not embarrassed yourself.

By contrast, eh's support for terrorists and racist views about Africans etc have gone with no condemnation and indeed only silence and tacit support. His Islamophobia is of course shared by the banned gang.. so there are no surprises there that his trolling posts and threads aren't criticised by the banned gang.

But then again, the banned gang appears to only be able to make their case by smear and innuendo.

You'd have thought that with all this practice you'd be better at it by now. But the fails keep on coming.

Back on Topic - the PA ambassador is quite clear about the PA views of the Holocaust. This is pretty much what Hamas have said also in their official, complete and unambiguous statements on the issue - and contrasts starkly with the Islamophobic myths that others want to believe (again, based on snippets and deliberate misrepresentation).

Isn't a loon someone who ignores countervailing facts?

In this case, we have a loon ignoring the actual speeches of high ranking Hamas officials in front of their supporters denying the Holocaust, a program on Holocaust denial run on Hamas's television channel, Hamas refusing to allow UN sponsored schools to teach the Holocaust and so on and so forth.

Here we have the same tired and worn claims of Hamas speaking officially on the matter in an Op-Ed written by one individual in an English language newspaper that was criticized for its lies in claiming Hamas doesn't have control over the contents of the programs it runs on its very own station.

One wonders why this loon is eager to (unsuccessfully) convince others that Hamas does not deny the Holocaust. Why is he so obsessed with this issue? He spends more time carrying water for an Antisemitic hate group than he does defending his "own" government and people; he's happy to throw the British under the bus in numerous articles on "racist" Britons but I've not once seen him post a "loon" story on Hamas - a group designated a terrorist movement by his own government and the vast majority of his fellow citizens.

Is anyone under any delusion the Britons this loon hates so much are anywhere near as hateful and militant as the Hamas terrorists he loves to promote?

Why won't the banned few just accept that the PA ambassador is exposing their myths as nothing more than Islamophobic fantasies based on Memri snippets and misinformation?

Hamas is a different organisation and there too, the full, comprehensive and clear statement is that they don't deny the Holocaust either:

1) Where did I mention the PA or the PA ambassador in my previous post?

2) Where did I not "accept" the PA ambassador in my post?

Coming back to this topic, which is about the Palestinian Authority's view of the Holocaust - it is interesting to hear whether anyone from the pro-Israel lobby can say anything positive about this clear statement.

The fact that the statement is the same as Hamas' has been dealt with comprehensively in the linked thread above.

Interesting to see that on this point there is unity amongst Hamas and PA.
