Today I learned something that was kinda news to me.. Apparently Andalusian classical music http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andalusian_classical_music was found by an Arab called "Ziryab" http://www.saudiaramcoworld.com/issue/2 ... ation..htm and that flamenco is also andalusian.. And that the English words lute, rebec, guitar, and naker derive from the Arabic oud, rabab, qithara and naqareh, although some Arabic terms had been derived from the Greek and other cultures.
