It looks like threads are diminishing pretty rapidly.

Is this because so may have made so many foes and the flow of chat is interupted?

or

Is it that so many of the frequent posters who instigated conversation are now in the sin bin of ban?

Most forums are getting dead these days because of facebook and twitter. There are few who have large number of active members. As for the "Art of Conversation" I prefery quality over quantity.

I would say DF is still in the healing phase, even after the mass sin binning, there have been incursions, once those are done with and somekind of control on just the sheer amount of spam, DF should bounce back in no time.

Because incursions just derail conversation and threads and discussions get lost in the mass tonnage of spam.

DF still needs a few improvements to function to its full capacity.

I'm with Nucleus on this - quality over quantity.

I personally don't miss the types of threads and posts that got the sad gang all banned. I am finding the not-so-subtle attempts to wind people up under new accounts to be quite funny and sad.

The fact that these threads and posts are being largely ignored is probably what's keeping the post levels down and the frustration levels of the exiled ones up!

I have a suggestion - why don't you persuade the sad gang to set up twitter accounts. I'm sure #IwasBannedfromDubaiForumsandIamBitter is available.

That said, I'm getting very tired with the moaning of the fans of the sad gang. Why don't you instead post something interesting?
